Unknown line fault

Hi
I been waiting for my broadband to be fixed for 2 days had a bloke out he checked all line etc his machine see exchange and talk to it.
He was on phone for a hour and half with ppl doing line tests all come back with no faults but the hh3 stays on soild orange bloke tryed 3 routers . After 2 hours he left saying he not see this before and bt wholesale told him a "hook and lift" won't work as all is fine.

So he packed up said they passed it on to 2nd line investcation and no other info .

So anyone had this ?

I'm on bt infinity 75meg with hh3

Thanks
Gavin

Re: Unknown line fault

to me he should of tried a different router and then if that didnt work try a different modem and then progress to trying different cables not just try 3 routers

Re: Unknown line fault

do you have another router to try?
you could set up a pc to use the modem directly as windows supports pppoe but this will put your pc on the net without a nat firewall
