I have two problems with emails that I sent from my @btinternet.com account
1) emails I know that I've sent disappear from the sent box. I know the email was sent and sometimes was part of a chain
2) some emails never arrive with the intended recipient. I have a record of the email being sent; my email address is known to the user - often it's someone I'm in regular contact with and the email doesn't go to spam. Not all emails fail. Sometimes the email which fails is part of a chain but sometimes it's an email intiated by me.
An unreliable system is intensely frustrating
Any suggestions on the cause and possible solutions?
