Upgrade from Superfast Fibre 1 Unlimited (50 Mb/s) to Superfast Fibre Plus (67 Mb/s)

Go to solution

I have been offered to opportunity to upgrade from Superfast Fibre 1 Unlimited (50 Mb/s) to Superfast Fibre Plus (67 Mb/s). I currently have speed of 30.1 Mb/s (on BT speed test). Is there anything I am missing here or are there any other benefits with this upgrade as it would appear that there might not be any speed benefits attaching? Help appreciated, thank you.

If your current speed on infinity 1 is only 30mb then upgrading to infinity 2 will not give you any speed improvement. The only difference between infinity 1 and2 is the removal of the speed cap   So upgrading is pointless

You won't benefit from faster speed, but there are other benefits, see http://home.bt.com/tech-gadgets/internet/broadband/why-bt-plus-benefits-fibre-broadband-mobile-11364...
