Upgrade issue

I am trying to upgrade my mobile handset do they carry out another credit check when your doing an upgrade even though Iv got a handset with them for two years as I can’t seem to upgrade

Hi @Sarahc75. Thanks for posting, in answer to your question an external credit check using Equifax isn't carried out. However, we do a review of your BT account payments before an upgrade order is accepted.

Ahh Thankyou Iv just finished a payment plan after arrears how long do they monitor this for do you know thanks

Hi @Sarahc75, no problem, the check is based on your BT payment history over the previous 12 months.
