Upgrade options.

Hi,

I'm presently on copper basic broadband as a light user and looking to upgrade and renew my contract.  Can anyone tell me if I can get the Infinity package for light users offering 38mb speeds for less than I'm paying now, without paying the upfront cost of £59.99.  I think that's for a Smart Hub but will my Hub 5 suffice?  My upgrade options on the BT site go straight to Infinity 2 which is way more than I need.

Hope someone can help.

Regards

Re: Upgrade options.

Hi @OddJob,

If you're out of contract on your current service, then you best bet would be to ring our Customer Retentions Team on 0800 800 030. They'll be able to go through all the offers currently available.

Thanks

Re: Upgrade options.

Hi PaddyB,

Thanks for your reply.  Unfortunately I'm deaf and really struggle on the phone.  My contract hasn't expired yet but free caller display ends soon and contract won't be far behind.  Can I do it all by e-mail or chat-line?

Re: Upgrade options.

If you go to say Broadband choices or cable.co.uk they have affiliate deals which link to BT deals , the last one I saw yesterday was 29.99for infinity 53 meg service with a 9.99 upfront fee, Your still ordering via bt just getting better deals.

Re: Upgrade options.

Thanks Leehebrides.  Had a look around but hoping Mod's will come up with competitive package.  Glad to find that no internal alterations are needed to get to Infinity from existing copper.

Thanks again
