I have upgraded to Infinity and today is my activation date. First of all I received a email stating a Engineer would call between 8am-1pm. (why I need the Engineer i don't know). The I received a email stating my date of activation and this could take up until midnight. I am aware that the only work involved is to the box opposite my house front window. I am also reasonably sure BT Engineers do not carry out routine work at lets say 11pm. Is this as I think simply a con to stop you ringing and complaining when by 4pm nothing has happened.

There are software configuration changes that need to be applied, these are queued, so it can take up to the end of the day for this to happen.
Got to be honest same time as i posted Internet went down and 10 minutes later up and running so my apology to BT. No Engineers attended to fit any sockets and so cannot answer the reply given.
