Re: Upgraded to BT Infinity 76mb, getting 13mb down 1.5 up

When trying to run the further diagnostics on the BT speedtest it just back with an error that it can't do it, this is with both options. The speedtest itself reads - DL - 12.50 UL - 1.35 Ping - 38.75

Re: Upgraded to BT Infinity 76mb, getting 13mb down 1.5 up

Is there a possibility fibre has not been installed here yet? The website still says coming soon for this area, the BT speedtest said there is no fibre running to this address, but on the MyBT page for my account it says we are on BT Infinity 2 Fibre.

Possible we are just set up ready for installation later this month or something of the fibre?

Sorry I'm not sure how this all works.

Your speeds are well below estimate so I would phone customer services and complain and get another engineer visit

Re: Upgraded to BT Infinity 76mb, getting 13mb down 1.5 up

Yeah thought this would be most likely outcome just having to call them, just thought I'd check here first. Had a feeling the 10 day settling down period was a load of nonsense.

Hi counttrapula,

Something is definitiely not right here.  If your cabinet is 150 metres away according to the table you should be getting close to 78Mbps, viz :-

Re: Upgraded to BT Infinity 76mb, getting 13mb down 1.5 up

Was a nightmare talking to customer support, got no where after an hour of useless 'turn it off and on again etc' and then was hung up on and got a text saying 'You have agreed the problem was fixed'.

Can a mod please take a look?
