Hi All,
I'm looking for some clarification, I currently have a Home Hub 4 which is connected to the OpenReach Modem on the WAN port.
I just received a new Smart Hub2 which does not have this port, looking on the BT setup guide it says you may have the wrong one, so called the helpline and got told I should remove the openreach modem and connect the new hub to a filter. However everything else I am reading online conflicts with this.
Can people confirm if upgrading means you remove the Openreach modem or if that stays and i have the wrong hub?
Thanks in advance

You no longer need the Openreach modem, just connect the phone socket to the DSL socket on the SH2 via the filter if you are currently using one
