'Upgrading' to Infinity

So...upgraded in the last week to infinity.
SmartHub turns up, as do BT range extenders as we have the TV package as well.
Switch from copper to fibre due to take place yesterday.
Duly took place, other half was working from home yesterday and wifi went down as they were working on it.
Advised by CS that it can take up until midnight before everything starts working properly.
No wifi today. Hub showing steady orange.
Rang CS/tech help, went through all the tests. No dice.
Not in a hotspot.
No engineer available til Tuesday, I can't be in so will be Friday. No wifi for a week.
Anyone else had similar? Anything I should be saying to BT apart from fix my wifi please?!

there is no Wi-Fi to fix you will not be able to use the connection until your infinity is active

Obviously it is not otherwise why send out an engineer?

They're sending an engineer as I phoned them to tell them that despite being informed that infinity was now active, the hub is now showing orange and there is no internet connection.

The confusion is that you kept referring to wifi in your original post rather than broadband. Your problem has nothing to do with wifi.

Yes am having similar problems, wish I had never switched to BT. Nightmare.
