I can not log on to Uplay or access the Ubisoft website. This means that online games are unplayable.
This problem occured back in Nov 2013 and was eventually solved after several days. Does anyone else have this problem at the momemt?
I don't play games so I can not comment on the loggin part but I can access the web site.
Try flushing your DNS cache
Click the Startbutton.
Enter cmd in the Start menu search field.
Right-click on Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator.
Type the following command and press Enter:
If the command was successful, you will see the following message:
Windows IP configuration successfully flushed the DNS Resolver Cache.
How is everyone having issues, I'm not, as I said I can access website without problem and why is it a BT Infinity issue and not a Ubisoft issue?
Flushed DNS cache and website still doesn't load. I will report it to Ubisoft, this problem did occur in November and was eventually resolved, at that time Ubisoft blamed BT as it was the only ISP that they had an issue with. I can access the games site and website if I logon via BTwifi (FON) but not using BT infinity.
It first happened when BT blocked a list of torrent sites... I have no idea why it only affects BT not VM in this country.... I thought it might be something to do with it being a dynamic IP rather than a static IP ? but definitely not uplay because previously hotspot shield got us to the ubisoft site.
Just to add that I'm suffering the same issue. Unable to access Ubisoft/Uplay websites or services using BT Infinity (try www.ubi.com/UK/ for example) . Access to all other sites appear ok. Normally I would go along with it being a Ubisoft/Uplay issue but as there is not a big internet uproar about it it appears to be us lucky BT Infinity customers impacted.
Note: Using Home Hub 5 with BT infinity 2.
Me too. Since 22nd, no connections to UPlay or ubi.com/uk/.
I'm on BT Infinity 2.
Very disappointing that neither BT nor UbiSoft acknowledge there's a problem, even though it seems to have happened before, last year.
