Re: Uplay and Ubisoft website

I have found that, although hotspot shield doesn't work for me.. my free avast antivirus has a built in VPN (trial for 3 days) that allows me to hide my BT id and connect and play
Far too old and fat to be riding very fast motorcycles...... but I do.

Re: Uplay and Ubisoft website

Same issue here folks. Just dropped a couple of days ago and now I can't access the games I paid good money for. Gotta love the digital age.

Are you aware that the main thread about this is here

and updates, although sparse, are being posted there.

Re: Uplay and Ubisoft website

I'm also suffering.  I haven't been able to properly connect to any of my Ubisoft games for the last several days.  Right in the middle of Far Cry 3 as well.

Seems this issue is getting some press from Ars Technica and RPS:

http://arstechnica.com/gaming/2014/01/unknown-issue-locks-bt-internet-customers-out-of-their-ubisoft...

http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2014/01/24/bt-infinity-blocks-ubisofts-uplay-or-vice-versa/

If this turns out to be an issue on BT's side, and especially if it's a result of filtering content, then they will lose me as a customer.

Why can't we have a free internet and act like adults?
