You need an engineer visit to resolve this

Re: Upload speed still blatantly non existant

Unfortunately i've already had an engineer visit with no change. The amazing part is that the engineer's job "stops at the wall" so he wouldn't even check the hub! Pretty pathetic service if you ask me.

Re: Upload speed still blatantly non existant

Has anyone actually ever seen this happen before and have any experience whatsoever in what might be the cause?

Re: Upload speed still blatantly non existant

unlikely if the engineer has already been and refused to check the hub.  Have you got another router or modem you can try?

Have you tried other devices such as a mobile or second PC?  Could it be a firewall blocking connection?  Stabbing in the dark here

not every engineer is like the first one there is a fault which only Openreach can resolve

Re: Upload speed still blatantly non existant

Cheers Richy  although i've tried everything imaginable, several ethernet cable/ports 3 different computers, disabled the firewall and parental control, I've even moved the wifi channel to the least used frequency.

I do have another modem but i'm not sure about the compatibility to fibre optic? Do you know anything about that side of things?

Re: Upload speed still blatantly non existant

if you have tried al those things you only have an engineer visit as an option

was it an Openreach engineer that did the install or a contractor

Re: Upload speed still blatantly non existant

Is it a Home Hub 5 you have?

Did the engineer install a proper OpenReach master socket with your BT Hub connected to it?
