The wording was 'from 14:00 the following day' so I should hope to see my usage for 'up to 23:59 on 17/1/13' around now............Blast, it still says 23:59 on 16/1/13, so i am back to a day overdue!

I have been building data using NetWorx for the last few days (having only one computer on the hub plus a phone which doesn't use much data) and the one day I have been able to compare so far was virtually spot on. I will continue to monitor.
I have now been comparing the readings between the BT Usage Monitor and NetWorx for 7 days and the values have tallied very closely.
The daily difference between them has varied between 0 and 0.06GB (60MB), which can easily be explained by the phone WiFi usage which is not measured by NetWorx.
If you are interested in the data used by the phone it is worth looking at the apps from Nutec. I have been using Data Master for iOS on an Apple iPod. This displays daily usage for a month and can be used to measure usage over any period using sepatate counters. On a device with 3G it measures this separately. I believe they also have apps for Android.
What this shows is what most of us want from the BT Usage Monitor.
One thing to remember though is if you use your mobile out & about at a hotspot it will include that as wifi data so it may not all have gone through your hub.
Very true, though in my case that would rarely be an issue as I don't use hotspots very often.
I have now got Data Master on my iPhone and will factor the figures into my analysis.
I suspect that many of these issues are due to the recent changes to the "My BT" website, as a number of people have also not been receiving usage e-mails.
This is being investigated by one of the moderators on this thread.

Unless there have been two problems with the same symptoms, the original reason for this thread cannot be that.
The fairly frequent problem of the usage monitor not updating was not new when this thread started, it had been happening since the end of August 2012, as raised in my, now redundant, thread here.
Hi all. New here. Lured by talk of out-of-date usage meter.
My meter is now three days out-of-date, which I see is actually wonderful compared to some of yours! This looks to me like the tip of a very large iceberg. How many users never even check their bill or the subsequent bank payment?
