Usage and Youview

Hello,

 

I have a 10gb limit which is normally fine, but since getting Youview my usage had shot up from about 7gb a month to over 25gb. Although the website states that youview usage does not add to your total, it's obviously happening. 

 

I'm also aware there has been a note stating that the usage meter is a bit broken and sometimes this can happen. What I would like to know is am I going to get charged for going over? Am I going to have to ring to get it fixed every time?!

Hi; the issue is with the online Broadband Meter we can see - not the one BT uses for the billing.
This means BT will not bill you for YouView Usage even though the online meter looks like they will.
You will not have to do anything . . . except perhaps check your bill the first time just to reassure yourself!
