Using BTHub3 to extend range of home hub 5 For a Simple person

I want to set up wifi to extend coverage in my garden to set up a bee cam that will require wifi.  Can I use my old home hub 3 as a repaeter to my home hub 5.  It will be about 90 metres away from Home hub 5 and will hopefuilly connect wirelessly. Can anyone offer advice in simple terms to help.

Many Thanks

Jane

Not sure how successful it will be at 90 metres though.

you will be lucky to get a wifi signal at 90m from base never mind be able to use it.  you would need to use a long ethernet cable and position HH3 somewhere in the garden and connect with the ethernet cable to hh5

You would be better getting an outdoor wireless access point/repeater. The start at about £30. If you do an Internet search you will find a few to choose from.

Better option would be to use a homeplug type wifi extender and forget the second hub.

Edit: GG beat me to it
