Using Netgear WN1000RP Wifi booster BT access control for parental control

Something to be aware of, if you use this Wifi booster, it allocates different MAC addresses to devices when they are connected to your router using this booster. This means that BT access control doesn't work unless you have both addresses set.

My son's bedroom is out of range of the homehub 3 so I bought one of these (£25, plug into power switch). When he connects through that the MAC addresses all start with 02 instead of what they should be. So it didn't work.

... but it does now
