Using own router

I have BT Broadband Fibre  - the one with the fibre to the house and a box screwed to the wall and then an Ethernet lead to the BT HUB 2 router.

Can I use my own router or another router in place of the BT one? I find the BT one to be absolutely terrible.

Yes, you can use almost any wireless router.

PPoE username is bthomehub@btbroadband.com password not needed but if the router requires one, BT will suffice.
