Using phone through FTTP

My phone has been switched from copper to my new ONT broadband fibre box. Does my phone therefor now go round the house using routers? We have 3 routers because of thick stone walls and it would nice to use the phone around the house at last!

Re: Using phone through FTTP

No, the phone is only present at the ONT, and is passed back over the fibre path. The phone  termination is just like any other phone line so it works with a normal phone.

I don`t think BT provide a digital phone interface, as that would need a special digital phone like those that are used on some business Featurenet lines.
