Using the USB socket to share printer? (HH6/Smart Hub)

Just wondering if there's anything special required to get this to work? 

 

The Smart Hub Manager reports there are 0 USB devices connected when a printer is plugged in, it recognises storage drives without issue.

 

I have searched here but can't find anything recent.

I guess the Hub would need a built in print server for that to work. Very much doubt it has one.

I assumed it could act as a print server. Many reviews for the Smart Hub mentioned the ability to use the USB socket for printers, maybe misinformation but it was possible on older Home Hubs.
