Please can someone let me know why I cannot save my settings to receive a VAT Invoice every month. It tells me it has worked but ten when I go back it still says I do not want a VAT Invoice.
I have also been trying to get a VAT invoice since I swapped to BT and still have not receieved one even though I am assured every month when I phone up and ask why I still do not receive them.
It looks like people have had the same problem as this in the past but again I am still no further forward even when I refer them to old community posts.
What am I to do?
does anyone get VAT Invoices from BT? I have been with them for over 16 months and still cannot get a VAT Invoice, no matter what is done by analysts etc.. They are also saying that I do have setting to recieve VAT invoices but my Bills do not show. They are now saying I need a business account to get VAT Invoices.
Can I suggest that I do not pay VAT as they are not giving me that information?
Can anyone help me or let me know how it works for them?
Hi, @Dubbs72 Welcome to the community and thanks for posting, I'm really sorry about the difficulty you've experienced getting a VAT invoice.
Do you get your bills online? If customer services have already set up your account for VAT statements you can access these by downloading your bill as a PDF file.
Login to MyBT click on view your bill then scroll down and click on 'download this bill as a PDF'. Please post back to let me know how you get on.

Hi @Dubbs72 I'm really sorry about that, have you tried my suggestion of downloading the bill as a PDF?
If the flag for receiving VAT invoices has been previously selected you should see the VAT itemised on the PDF version of the bill after downloading it. If it's still not itemised on the PDF version of the bill I'll be happy to help.

I have tried to download and still not VAT invoices.
If I go to Change how you receive your bill in Bill Settings the VAT is set as below
If I set this and save I get the following
If I go back in, it is still the same.
I speaking to Customer Services they say that my account is set up to receive VAT invoices.
Is it this that is causing the issue?
