Just had a email from the mods.
Thanks for getting in touch. I'm sorry to hear of the problems you've had with your broadband speeds.
I can see that in the time between sending this email and me picking it up an awful lot has happened; the case has been sent to a specialised team in BT Wholesale who are going to cease and reprovide your line on to a completely different piece of equipment in the exchange as it appears that the equipment you're currently connected to is over-utilised -- this is the cause of your slow throughput speeds.
The care manager who has taken ownership of this case has done a really good job so far, and since the cease and reprovide is already underway with BT Wholesale I can't really do much more until we hear word back. What I can do is keep you updated via email as to what's going on since it seems we're coming to the end of this fault saga anyway. I'll check up on this case this afternoon as we're due to receive an update by then, and if there are any updates for you I'll send you another email with the news.

Good news at last
With the forum mods and the manager from India i an now feeling hopeful.
While waiting for a 7pm call from india i thought i would add another speedtest.
Cant get the BT speedtest to work today, so i have had to use another source.
383 Kbps Down
307 Kbps Up
I wish they would ring on time.
hope India don't get involved and it's left to the mods to get your connection fixed
If it was me I would have given up already on India as the mods have your problem in hand from reading Dean's email - but it is your choice
I will give them until 10pm to call me, then i think another email to the mods is caled for.
Thanks again imjolly.
