Very Very Slow Internet Sped over the past few days

I'm on BT Fibreoptic in the Weymouth area (DT4) and the speed over the past few days has been absolute rubbish - so slow in fact that I can't get the BT speed test to run. According to USwitch (which I could get to run) I am getting 1.6Mb download speed and 0.9Mb upload which is abysmall - tried restarting the hub but there is no improvement.

Are you on FTTC or FTTP?

Can you please provide http://speedtest.btwholesale.com/ results for different times of the day, including the further diagnostics page? The last test needs to be done at peak times so the results are stored on the BT server.

These must be done using a computer connected to the home hub, using an Ethernet cable.

Which exchange are you connected to?

All sorted - changed channels to 6 and 36 and everything is fine now.

So it was a wireless issue then.
