Can anyone tell me if the red button channels are included in my BT TV package, or are they separate?.

They are freeview hd channels and are available on the bt youview box at no extra cost.

Just press the red button when prompted to watch.

Vintage TV is available on Youview boxes . It is a service provided by Arqiva

https://community.youview.com/youview/topics/arqiva-launches-range-of-channels-on-youview

Some but not all of Arqiva Connect channels are available on Youview boxes.

BBC red button and BBC connected red button are available on Youview.

All the above are available on Youview regardless of whether you have BT TV or not.

BT Sport connected red button is available at certain times for BT Sport  subscribers on Youview.

Re: Vintage tv

A pity they can't have them auto-stream like they do on a connected TV (my Sony TV has Youview but you don't need to press the red button for those channels to stream when you select them).

It's not the worst thing in the world having to press the red button once the text appears but it just seems to be a disincentive to watch them as it makes them feel a little less 'proper' as channels.
