WHY WONT BT APP RUN???????

Hello, I am REALLY frustrated by the BT tablet APP.

It has worked OK in the past, BUT NOT NOW!!!!!

I have got:

actual 30 MB download

2 X Smasung Tab  S 9.7

I have spent 45 mins trying to get access.

1 @ a time - both together

& it it worked  @ 10 to three for Football but I want to watch Womens Hockey that stared @3   40 mins ago.

Uninstalled the app on both devices 2 or perhaps three times

re-booted both devices, 

Re-booted WiFi

Mostly getting app wont run - restart, 

but also getting CF001 (I think) - no response from BT

 

Pretty much given up on seeing anything, but for the enxt time .....

HELP PLEASE??

 

 

ALSO of note  ... BT.com wont load via by Chrome browser - coz I tried to view via the webpage on the tablet

On a PC I can login to my BT account without a problem but if I try to watch Sport I get the 'only runs on a mobile device - wont run on a PC" !!

Have you checked Google Play for updates to the app and have you accepted the End User Licence Agreement.

If the answer to both of these questions is Yes then it might be worth trying a factory reset of one of the tablets and if that works then do the same to the other

Thanks for replying.

 

Yes I have removed & re-loaded the app several times, including cold power off in between, & still nothing.

 

Interestingly I checked out with BT if my account was blocked/flagged in some way; one of the tings they said was that the EE SIM had to be in the device! Well both my tablets run on Wifi and have run the sport app very well previously.

But I think it may be a Samsung issue since when I tried to goto WHich.co.uk I got a similar "Which has not responded" type message.

Maybe a Factory reste is the answer - aaaaaggghhhhhhhh!!!

That sounds like a wifi issue. I don't buy the part about the SIM, unless of course you are using mobile data which I'm guessing you're not. Before doing a factory reset, it might be worth telling your tablet to forget the wifi network it is currently set to use and starting again with the wifi setup

Turns out the WiFi was broken on my Router 😦
Setup a different router & all perfect.

Thanks to offers of advice.
