WPA/WPA2

Hi,

I've just upgrade to Windows 10, and after the upgrade finished I was surprised to see a Windows warning message about my WIFI connection what being secure as it uses older security standards.

Upon checking my Hub 4 it is set for both 'WPA and WPA2'.  This is shown as the recommended setting.

It looks like changing this setting to 'WPA2 only' has cleared the issue.

But does this mean my Hub has been using the less secure WPA standard since the very beginning, and should I be concerned about it?

Thanks,

Re: WPA/WPA2

Hi @michael226

Thanks for posting.

It uses both and Windows probably just detected that one.

So while you have been using it, unless you saw any devices connected in the Hub Manager that you did not recognise (as WPA encryption is more easily cracked) then there is nothing to be worried about.

Thanks
