I upgraded to fibre (infinity 2), whilst knowing full well my fastest available speeds are 27Mb, way lower than what even infinity (1) can offer. My current speeds are 10Mb, and this is after having an engineer visit to switch and sort out the line. Online it says lowest assured speed 18Mb. I contacted support, and was rung today by someone from the 'Network Fault Specialist' team, who asked if my broadband was working, I said yes, he said thanks and hung up.
How can I contact someone who will actually fix my issue? All of my neighbours have faster than the minimum speeds.
Quiet line test fine
Ok, contacted support again and they are sending out engineer #2, hopefully this fixes it, but I can't see how another visit is going to help.
Why upgrade to Infinity 2 when you knew it couldn't go faster? It'll be more expensive, won't it?
I think there was a offer for current customers. I dont know, but It's cheaper than the advertised prices for existing customers online. I agree though, it seems odd. I wish I hadn't gone with it now, as my speeds are terrible.
