Weak Wi-Fi signal

I just upgraded from BT superfast unlimited to Fibre 1, but still got original BT Router.  Do I need that upgrading too?  Wi-Fi much better downstairs, but still slow in back bedroom.  I read can boost Router Wi-Fi output signal by fitting a high gain antenna to Router.  However, I cannot see existing antenna or where to fit a new one.  They all seem to have a screw connection that I cannot find on Router,

None of the home hubs have external aerials, or a means of plugging one in.

If you just need a better wifi signal in the back bedroom, then this is probably the best solution.

It also give you two Ethernet ports as well.
