Reading this topic I think I'm experiancing the same problem. Looks like packet loss, a error on BT's side.
I live in the Worksop area and the infinity service is not good at all right now.
Seems this is happening to many others around the area.
Download speeds are fine but pages won't load without several refreshes or not at all.
Yes, same here a few miles down the road (A614). And it's getting to be a pain!
I've just ran a test http://n3.netalyzr.icsi.berkeley.edu/, and I am getting this result back, should I be concerend:-
Your ISP's DNS server returns IP addresses even for domain names which should not resolve. Instead of an error, the DNS server returns an address of 188.8.131.52, which resolves to unallocated.barefruit.co.uk. You can inspect the resulting HTML content here.
There are several possible explanations for this behavior. The most likely cause is that the ISP is attempting to profit from customer's typos by presenting advertisements in response to bad requests, but it could also be due to an error or misconfiguration in the DNS server.
The big problem with this behavior is that it can potentially break any network application which relies on DNS properly returning an error when a name does not exist.
The following lists your DNS server's behavior in more detail.
I also get the same MTU 1492 and not 1500 as above?. Why,is this a problem?. How do you fix this?.
I have clicked on disabled but it was on that to begin with.
Yes mate. HH3. Sound Bulitt it looks like disabling it, has worked, its gone now but I am still getting the 1942 MTU issue?.
I have got other minor issues but I cannot post because it gives all my IP info, shame really. Some one could of loooked at them for me.
Here is the test, if someone could look at it tell me what to do to correct it. Thanks.
