What can I get with a Master Socket 5c? Fibre or landline ADSL

Hi Friends,

Hope you are well. I am moving into a new place and there is a Master Socket 5c inside it. What kind of broadband I can  get with this set up please?

If I can't get fibre what should I do to get it?

Thank you very much

May you be well and happy

@aryasravaka

Welcome to this user forum.

Are you placing an order for phone and broadband from BT Retail?

Re: What can I get with a Master Socket 5c? Fibre or landline ADSL

Hi,

I already have bt broadband for another property. This is a new property. There is a Master Socket 5c in the new property. I would like to know what type of broadband I can get with the existing set up? I will do a price comparison search once I know the type of broadband. Thank you very much Mr keith

Just check the address on any of the websites out there & it will tell you. Nobody here is able to tell you as we don't know the address

If you are moving your existing BT service to a new address using the BT Home Moving process, then that should give you some idea of what speed you are likely to get. That process is usually the best way to do things.

https://www.bt.com/manage/moving-home/

You many also be able to get some idea, by using this website.

https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL/AddressHome

That is only an approximation, as its often not possible to tell, until you have an active phone line at your new property.

If you are ordering an additional service, and still keeping the service at the old address, then you will have to place a new order here.

https://www.bt.com/broadband/

That will give you an estimated speed.
