What connection have I actually got in MB?

Hello.

 

I am on BTs 21CN network and on their new profile system and right at this moment I am connected

at sync rate of 5504 kbps and my download speed I see when downloading is 600 KB/s.

 

What connection have I actually got in MB?

Thanks a lot buddy for the quick response. I thought it would be 5MB or just slightly over but

wasn`t 100% sure as I am not familiar with BTs new profile system etc.

 

I know on BTs old system, it would still only be 4.5MB.

Does anybody know of a website or etc that has an explanation of BTs new 88.2% system and

shows the sync rates and IP profile and what the speed it is in MB?

 

I used to follow the information on the thinkbroadband page below to see what connection I

have but this is no longer valid for the new system.

Bt 's new profile system is 88.2% of connection speed whereas before there was a table.  I'm sure if you read here then you will find all the information you require http://www.kitz.co.uk/adsl/IPprofile.htm

there is no site that shows the new method simply use a calculator now the easy way
