They recon you will get 16Mb max download and 1.7Mb max upload, you could probably knock 6Mb off the download you probably wouldn't get 1mb up though, your line looks really bad. Use the wired connection on the Home Hub 3 to do a speed test remember if your using windows you have to disable wireless as it doesn't switch to wired automagically 😉 let us know what you get but looking at those speeds looks like you have no choice really see if you can negotiate a better price for what you are getting good luck

Do the wired test first and see what speed you are getting. When i had my ADSL and my netgear 300Mbps router i was able to perform a speed test wirelessly and get the same results as if i had it wired so yes a good router can help the Home Hub 3 is C*R*A*P wirelessly regardless of what you see in BT's advertisment.
