Re: When will I get FTTP or FTTC

Well spotted, missed the date on the checker result. Must be when an expansion happens as the cab went live in 2016.

Re: When will I get FTTP or FTTC

I've signed up for a BT line based on the info EE have given me about not being able to provide FTTP and that BT will be allocated the majority of new ports available.  Also chosen for an engineer to install a new line so hopefully that will help.

I notice this also;

FTTP on Demand33030--26-Nov-19

Does this mean there is a plan for FTTP also? I mean, what else could it mean?

Either way, hopefully I won’t be stuck in the dark ages much longer!!

Hi @gofunk1   Unfortunately FTTP on Demand would cost you £thousands. Mainly for business users.

Ports are not pre-allocated to anybody, its first come first served.

As @VeteranISPUser says, FTTP on Demand is not the same as WBC FTTP and is an extremely expensive business product.

That doesn't include the build charges.

BT will not be allocated any ports, neither will any other ISP.  All ISP's have the same access by law.
