I have recently added an Echo Flex to the system the Echo is working OK but has gone invisible in the BT HomeHub App and it is showing as Off Line which it is definitely not as sometimes is it steered to the primary Disk and it will then become visible again.
Any suggestions on what is causing this problem and how to resolve it??
Rebooted the whole system to fix it. It was not enough to use the Aop for this had to switch it off at the Primary Disc, still concerned about issue though. Will keep an eye on this.
When mine start to play up I never know if it’s the router, one or all discs, a device (hot about 10 echo dots and 10 fire sticks dotted around the house) so...
I kill the mains to the whole house and start from scratch. Less devices you have to put the time in these days, remember when the power went and you spent 3 hours resetting clocks? Wasn’t life simple back then!??
When will new firmware be launched as we have not had a new release for nearly a year.
Agreed. I'm very surprised not to see any new firmware since 10 May 2020. A year ago.
There's always new wifi security attacks and bugs to fix, so please update the systems we have invested in.
If BT don't support their devices properly, there's no reason for people to buy them in future.
I'm still waiting on a fix to the Google Audio Chromecast problems. (ie fragmented and erratic appearance over the mesh network, depending on what disc they are connected to.
Very poor showing from BT regarding firmware updates over 12 months now
Quite clearly a dead product now. All their focus is on premium and mini discs. Won’t ever buy a BT product again.
When is WPA3 coming to the original whole home Wi-Fi?
I see in the premium disk forum WPA3 is coming soon in the next beta.
There are currently no plans to add WPA3 to WHW1 or Mini but we haven't ruled out adding in a future release.
