Hello learned members
I have recently purchased a BT Whole Home 3 disc kit. Disc 1 is connected to the HH6 and I have around 50mbps on PC connected directly to HH6. I have around 20mbps on the discs connected by wifi.
I have recently wired up cat6 cable and connected up a disc expecting to have better speed. The speed is about the same. 20mbps.
I have tested the CAT6 by attaching to laptop and have around 50mbps.
I have added an ethernet hub (unmanaged) BT 8 port gigabit. The speed of the ouput of this is 25mbps on laptop and 13 mbps on WH Disc.
I have two questions
1. Why is the disc speed not faster when on Cat 6, is it due to being wifi to laptop
2. Why does the E Hub slow down the speed so much?
Thanks in advance
