Suddenly, out of the blue, the app will not work (says I am not connected to WiFi, which I obviously am since I can post this!) and any attempt to use the web interface from any device, including ethernet connect ones, (via IP address or the mybtdevice url) simply delivers this url in response.....
which it clearly is not, or I would not be here! Wholehome 3 disc configuration, main disc Ethernet to BT HH6.
suggestions? apart from power off/reboot of all discs which I will try once the rest of the family are offline.

Fixed by power off + reboot
I have just had this issue with my BT WholeHome Premium and had to complete a full power cycle.
