Why are BT throttling downloads from the Adobe website?

Iv had BT infinity for nearly 4 weeks now, and in this time my speeds whilst downloading a flash update is utterly ridiculous.

I want to use swear words its so ridiculous.

Please see image and explain to me why BT are capping flash downloads!

Speeds sre capped to 2.6kB/s, but to be honest with you, it isnt going that fast. Its much slower.

RAGE! I cant post a picture as I doint have flash!

What makes you think that BT is doing it?  Downloads from Adobe are always stupidly slow.

Re: Why are BT throttling downloads from the Adobe website?

No.

With my previous ISP downloading the flash player pluging is super fast and the file is less than 2megabytes.

With Infinity the speeds are throttled to less than 2KB and the automated inbuilt browser update fails aswell, no doubt due to BT inteferance.

I have managed to get the flash player from filehippo.

Now I can post my picture which I couldnt before. I am not the only one who sees such poor speeds directly from adobe:

Poor speeds

Here you can find another page dedicated to this BS: http://community.bt.com/t5/BB-Speed-Connection-Issues/Adobe-Flash-Installer-Why-is-it-throttled/td-p...

It's a long known problem with Adobe server, download installer from another site like cnet or similar.

Long-time Adobe user here, grey hair (what there is left of it) and all . . .

The Adobe Flash Player updates are ALWAYS slow when they are first released and everyone on the planet is downloading them. Try first thing in the morning and the download will fly.

Re: Why are BT throttling downloads from the Adobe website?

Dont blame BT for something that has nothing to do with them, i was going to do a screenshot of me downloading flash player just now but i cant because my infinity connection downloaded it before the dialogue box came up, you see i can download more than 3mb in a second so there isnt time.
