Why can't I delete some email addresses?

In my "Manage my Email Addresses" I have 9 email addresses including 3 that I want to delete but cannot because they do not have the "delete" option to select and use. How can I remove them please as they are now defunct.  I am using BT Mail.

Just noticed that the three email addresses I asked to be removed (and thought they had) are still in my "manage my email addresses" window. It says I have used 9 of my eleven email addresses when I have not. Why is this?

Hi.  Would it be possible to do the same for me?  I want to delete an email address but keep getting this error message:

"Sorry, this delete feature is currently unavailable.  The feature will become available by the end of September"

I need to delete this account because I am getting up to 100 spam emails a day.

Your old account has now been barred and it will be permanently deleted on the 06/12/2016 (60 days).

I was wondering if you could expand on exactly what gets deleted when doing it as you suggest.

I may be wrong, but I think I really want a nuclear option which deletes:-

1) Email sub account address 'portal' (or whatever it's called) on MyBT

2) same email account but on Yahoo.com

3) Top level Yahoo user account (which I guess was created by BT for me and includes my address, postcode etc.)

4) Anything else Yahoo have on me

@898654, the delete I mentioned for the other person came off the back of contact through another thread. This person already completed the form. When we pick up your case we'll discuss it all with you.
