Why did the Account Manager receive the April Price Rise email and the Account Holder didn't

I'm setup as Account Owner and my partner has her own BT ID and is setup as Account Manager and with Full Control of her BT mobile phone. Today she received the April Price Rise email but I didn't.

I checked My BT and under Account sharing it states that "Currently this account has no users or managers". But in her BT ID under Accounts she can still see the account details but "Remove me from this account" is greyed out.

Can anyon please explain what is going on with our account?

Re: Why did the Account Manager receive the April Price Rise email and the Account Holder didn't

I can't answer your specific question but can confirm that something's up.

My wife is the account holder and I am manager. BT communications have always come to an email address we use for BT ID and other sundry purposes, and I was surprised when the current price increase notice came to a spare address which hasn't been used for anything since year dot.

I checked the account and confirmed the BT ID address still shows as the one for communications, but also found that there's no longer a manager and I've been promoted to account holder! I suppose I should try to get it sorted out but don't fancy kicking a hornets' nest.

Thanks. I've checked our email addresses and they are all correct. At least I know it's not just me.

I think you'll need to start by calling BT on 150. If it they can't get it sorted, report back here for further advice.
