I have been trying to contact BT by phone and by e-mail I just can not get hold of anybody? I am sure I am being ripped off but I can not get hold of any information on my online account? I nearly left last year for a cheaper alternative but I was talked into staying with the promise of a £25 per month standing order to cover my phone and broadband. But this gradually grew to £38 per month until the last bill of 2013 said I owed £89 even though my £38 per month was coming out and I ordered a payment card that I paid £50 on. I got an e-mail this morning saying I owed £115 and if I did not pay it my standing order would rise to £89 to cover it, so I paid this amount. But I can not understand why my bill is so high, it is saying I have made over 200 phone calls? but I only use it occasionally most of my calls I make on my pay as I go mobile. I am convinced my bill is being racked up by some kind of computer error or someone else is connected to my line? I am struggling with my bills I am on basic pension just over £140 per week I have nothing to live off this week because of these high phone bills and I can not contact anyone to have it checked or cancel my contract?
