Why is taken over two years to pay a credit to my late uncle,s estate ??

I would like some one at BT to explain why even though our late uncles has been dead nearly two years and the account has been closed for that long, they keep on putting off paying us a small  credit that is outstanding on the account.

Our solicitor has been in contact with the the account department many times and each time they say they they are going to send her a cheque, it never arrives.

If we the customer do not pay our bill only after a couple of weeks, BT charge us late fee, yet BT seem they can take as long they like to pay money owing to us Why/

I would be grateful if some one at BT can explain as I am thinking of putting the matter in the hands of the County court if the mater is not sorted in the next week or so

Its taking over a year for them to pay me a credit and its still not been sorted... Best one is that the £75 credit that was there is now gone to £16 and I haven't recieved that payment and am still paying monthly bills........this is silly and very frustrating.......I want to complain and try to get this money back but it will cost me more to get a court order!!!

As this my wife's late uncles account, the details in my profile are different.

My wife is the administrator of the estate and has the relevant probate letters.

We have all the details of the account including account number.

Though My Wife would have like to sort it out over the phone, however has she is hard of hearing she can not use it and I normally make calls on her behalf. However as your staff will only speak to the account holder, this is not possible in this case.

Please therefore if arrangements can not be made for me to speak to some one can you advise me a email address that she put the details so you can look in to the matter.

Hi again as suggested please contact the forum mods they will get your problem resolved for you please use the link in my previous post that is a direct way of contacting them (that is there Email contact)they will reply by email if you explain your wife's hearing difficulty
