Cos BT have it.
cos bt have what.
Just a note to the "happy amateur".
Your poor grammar and spelling make your points hard to discern.
"Hard drives hard to break" unplug it from the mains whilst it is exchanging information and it breaks.
If you get someone to read this thread to you then you will see my options at page 1, as you call it, do not include anything you suggest.
My guess is that you are "Pigman" from the other forum.
Just to explain to everyone else, this herbert claims to be PC engineer on another site.
He has been antagonistic from the start.
More juvenile sites have termend him a "Troll" don't know what it means but it does sound right.
I am just disappointed that this person has seen fit to despoil a grown-up site.
cant see any posts from happy amateur to see what he suggested. but if the engineer had turned on the pc the external hardrive would not off been exchanging any data.
do you know anyone with basic pc knowledge you can remove the hardrive from the external case and try a direct connection in case its the transformer thats at fault on the external drive.
Hi Chippychap,
You will get a call from the office about this complaint today if you haven't received one already.
Thanks,
Stephanie
EXACTLY 4 WEEKS.
BT have phoned to say, "engineer said he didn't" so case closed.
I will now have to deal with whichever branch of Ofcom deal with this.
Thank you for the ones who supported me.
For me, the fight must go on as I am looking at one very expensive paperweight.
why dont you claim under you contents insurrance.
basicly if the engieer says he didnt, and you have no proof he did, other than saying he unpluged a microwave your not going to get far. while your at it you could pour bleech on carpet and get new carpet.
You know, illiterate and unpleasant people are quite rare on this forum.
Congratulations on being the first one I've met.
You add absolutely nothing.
It goes to Otello now.
I'll let you know.
