Wi-fi disc doesn’t connect

I have tried to set up Wi-fi disc numerous times using the app and always works for a few days and then turns flashing red. Doesn’t matter where I put disc; it’s always flashing red.

Any suggestions? Getting pretty fed up with the disc as Wi-fi downstairs is poor ribbon existent.

Is it the Complete Wifi (black) disc that you are referring to, as there are two systems that people are using?

Think it is complete Wi-fi. I have one black disc which I got with my hub 2 about a year ago.

I assume you mean the Smart Hub 2.

I believe there have been a number of firmware updates since last year, so I am wondering if yours is up to date?

Perhaps another forum member with the same system, can tell you what the latest version of the app and firmware are.

The latest firmware for the Smart Hub 2 is vO.15.00.061-BT.

This updated here on 13 Aug 2019.

You can’t force an update, but what you could do is a factory reset. Then turn off Smart Setup, and fix the channels, not auto select. 2.4 GHz at ch 6, 5 Ghz  at ch 36, is a good start.

Connect the disc by Ethernet as to normal procedure, and then position it...........(don’t do repeated hub resets, or you speeds will suffer).
