Ok, going slightly mad. I have complete wifi and in process of setting up additional disc, I follow the steps, locator tells me position is excellent, i switch on disc, go through rest of the steps and complete. Then every time, the bt app then says good not excellent. Any ideas ???? Doesn't matter what i put it, this happens every time
Re the Bt app. Presumably it’s the MyBt app.
Which device are you using. Is it Android or iPhone / iPad.?
For iOS version, sometimes it helps to clear the cache from that app, and start again. You will find this option on the iOS settings.
It seems to be a strange solution, but sometimes it works.....don’t know why.
For the Android device the best indication of signal strength is obtained using an app.
There’s an app Network Signal Info Pro.
There’s a free version and a paid version, which is better.
It gives reasonably accurate indications of signal strength (plus other data on mobile signals). You can move around your house and check wi-fi signal strength in dB. This is a better indication than “strong”, “poor”, “excellent”.
The important indication is the signal strength near to your device, e.g computer, if it’s stationary.
