Hi guys.
I've been with BT since December and noticed that intitially we were getting the full 300+ fibre speeds on both ethernet and wifi.
Since then, the wifi speeds have dropped to around 80Mbps. I've changed channels on the router to improve this and it's got to over 100Mbps, but this still doesn't seem right.
The router is away from other electrical equipment, there has been no changes in what's connected (several Amazon Echo's and normally 2 iPhones), so is there something I'm missing to improve this? These speeds are me directly in front of the router.
Thanks in advance
James

Try a factory reset of the home hub.
Then turn Smart Setup off.

Also try separating and renaming the SSIDs.

You may be suffering from wireless interference from another nearby wireless network on the same or adjacent channel.
you should be able to change the SSID ( I changed mine) but some characters are not permitted and no spaces
No body can .. its a Right PITA !!!!

You can change the SSID, but they will always be the same for both bands.
Use change the network name.
Yeah I meant change them to DIFFERENT names Keith ..
