The BT Wi-fi app is available for smartphones and tablets that run iOS and Android operating systems.
Perhaps this is not the correct forum and should be on the BTapps page but here goes;
I have have a Windows phone (Luima 930) and even though I know there are not many developers now writing apps for Windows (including BT?) I am very pleased with it, but there are from time to time snagging problems.
One such problem is with logging on when out and about onto the BT WiFi with Fon signal. There is, as far as I can see, no addition to the BT Mobile app on my phone that allows me to automatically connect when I am in close proximity to one of these hotspots. The only way to log on is to go to the phone settings, select that BT hotspot which then opens the BTopenzone home page in my browser where it want s me, as a BT customer, to log on - everytime.
The question please is how to I get the phone to automatically logon to one of these hotspots?
I get BT FON alerts every day asking me to log on and every time I try it rejects my email and BT.com Password. As a result, I cannot use the so-called free automatic access to the BT WiFi hotspots I have a Lumia Microsoft phone using a BT SIM card and use Windows 10 operating system. Please how to I get the phone to automatically logon to one of these hotspots?
Hi guys,
Check the solution on BT Wifi app on Nokia Lumia 920 and let me know if that helps.
Cheers
David
