Wired Ethernet Connection form PC or DVR to Home Hub 5 - Straight through or Cross over wires

I have a question regarding Wired Ethernet Connection form PC or DVR to Home Hub 5, do you need to run Straight through or Cross over the wires in the cat 6 / cat 5 cable ?

Straight through although if you use a crossover cable it will auto sense and still connect. Cat5e is sufficient.
