Re: Wireless Connection

Short Ethernet patch cable at each end.

Try    TP-Link TL-PA211KIT 200Mbps Mini Powerline Ethernet Adapter - Twin Pack

for powerline adapters.

No you need

1 off      TP-Link TL-PA211KIT 200Mbps Mini Powerline Ethernet Adapter - Twin Pack

And

2 off     Wired--up 2M Ethernet RJ45 Network Cable

Provided 2 Metres is long enough each end, to reach from the home hubs mains socket, to the home hub Ethernet ports

And at the other end

From the mains socket (not a filtered one) that your iMac plugs into, to your IMacs Ethernet port.

Re: Wireless Connection

Update

Just received the twin pack which also contained 2 ethernet cables. A question;-

I know it's not a BT thing but I have a Time Capsule external back up which need to connect by ethernet from HH3 direct to WAN port of Time Capsule hard disc then wirelessly to iMac.

I am presently unable to use this back up as HH3 to ethernet connection is too far away.(the reason I am using TP-Link)

I ask if you think I should be able to utilise TP Link to help in a similar way to my earlier problem?

Re: Wireless Connection

Is either end of the TP link near to the Time Capsule?
