Wireless connection

For 2years I have had the same setup. Bthub4 When I stream a movie the download speed is 4.5 Mbps which always was satisfactory. Until last week it starts at 4.5 for 3/5 minutes then losses the signal to 0.1 or nil and does not come back to 4mbps. Nothing has changed in the home we have no other appliances connected to the router, The Hub 4 should find the best channel but I have tried changing the channel and it did not make any difference. I changed the Hub no difference. We also get buffering on Iplayer from last week. Help

smart wireless is not as smart as it should be it can only select 3 channels of the 13 available and every other router with smart wireless does the same the best advice is turn off smart wireless and select a channel manually

you can try downloading inssider3 (istumbler if MAC) and then run it. This will show the broadcasting networks round about you and their channels including your own. If you then enter your router and change your wireless channel to a free or less congested channel.
