We have always had a good connection speed as we are close to the exchange. But over the last two weeks the wireless connection speeds are almost constantly under 1 meg 😞 sometimes creeping up to 7meg (for a short time only).
Just looking at the my stats. There appear to be alot of errors - any suggestions ???

Hi Welcome to the forum
This link may help you http://www.btinternet.com/~cbeddoe/wireless/hub3_wireless.html
It may also help if you download insidder and then select a free wireless channel
it sounds like wireless interference could be your problem
Is the speed the same when connected using an Ethernet cable, and is it much slower after dark?
Then your problem is more likely due to a low downstream noise margin.
See Noise margins
It looks like its only 2.5db at the moment. I suspect it drops lower later, and the CRC events start clocking up.
keith the errors don't seem very high bearing in mind that connection time is 6+ days
can you run btspeedtser beta version and post when you see slow download. there is no restriction on the number of times you can this beta version
Its stil 9700 CRC errors a day, and if most of them are in the evening, that is when the margin is going to drop.
The best way is to wait until it slows down, make a note of the noise margin, and check the CRC events every 30 second or so, to see if they are clocking up.
There are also a large number of errored second, which indicate noise or interference.
The usual "test" socket test would be best, and see if the noise margin goes up a bit.
be interesting to see if they increase substantially at night but 9700 crc over 24hrs is only 6/7 a minute and on fast that does not seem alot of errors - unless they all happen in a couple of hours at night
The ethernet connection is fine - about 18-20 meg. It is only wirelss on a selection of devices. Seems no pattern to the dips, ie does not relate to time of day - never even got up to 1 meg all of yesterday afternoon. Currently running at about 13 (which is fine).
