Wrong item delivered in connection with upgrade

How do I tell BT  that they have delivered the wrong item? The only email address I have is for BT shop: they replied that it was not their concern. BT online chat appears to be inopperative and there seems to be no message system on their website. BT advertises a postal address for a letter of complaint, but this is going to take some time. Is there any quicker way other than hanging on to the phone for hours.

Unfortunately at present the only method of contacting BT is phoning 150
